🏅 Role
As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will join our Sales team to bring new business to the company and close new contracts in order to expand the Kampaay customers portfolio. You will be the first point of contact for our potential customers with the main objective of creating new partnerships and selling Kampaay as the answer to their business needs.
Thanks to your deep knowledge of the event world you will understand our new clients needs in order to sell Kampaay as the best possible solution for them!
📍Location
This is a hybrid role: the reference office is in Milan, but we would love to see your face around our office corridor as often as possible 😉
👩💻🧑💻 As a Sales & Business Development Manager in Kampaay, you will:
- You will be in charge of seeking new Medium to Large Enterprise business opportunities, to turn them into signed contracts through different channels;
- Be the owner of your pipeline end to end, from the generation of a meeting to the signing and kickoff of the project;
- Map and engage with key stakeholders (Procurement, Marketing & Communication, HR) to guide them through complex buying processes;
- Own and deliver accurate sales forecasting, ensuring predictability and transparency across the pipeline;
- Educate clients on industry trends and best practices, positioning Kampaay as a trusted advisor rather than a simple vendor;
- Collaborate with Marketing and BDR teams to optimize account targeting, outbound strategies, and lead conversion;
- Represent Kampaay at industry events, fairs, and networking opportunities to expand our reach and strengthen brand presence;
- Proactively find solutions for every challenge by collaborating with all the internal teams (Legal, Engineering, Events);
- Be an ambassador of Kampaay's innovate way of managing events by presenting and selling our technology to every potential customer, embrace a “tech-first” mindset
🧡 About you
You could be our perfect Sales & Business Development Manager if you have the following characteristics:
- You have at least 10 years of experience as Enterprise Account/Event Manager, Key Account Sales in the event/communication industry, agency, or similar;
- You already have a consolidated customers’ portfolio and the credibility to open new doors fast;
- You are a hunter by nature: proactive, resilient, and relentless in generating new business opportunities;
- You deeply understand how an event works in terms of complexity, supplier management, and budget setting, allowing you to act as a true consultant for clients;
- You are passionate about digital innovation solutions and eager to use them to boost the event world;
- You are comfortable running a full sales cycle end-to-end, from cold approach to negotiation and contract signature;
- You have strong experience in using digital sales tools to structure your pipeline and maximize impact;
- You are Italian mother tongue and fluent in English (both written and spoken);
- You naturally bring the soft skills we value most: resilience, ownership, negotiation, and the ability to manage complex internal and external dynamics;
- You have such experience in the business world that you have all we are looking for as soft skills in your everyday schedule, and don’t require explanations…so you definitely should be a superman/woman
